ZEUS - In Loving Memoriam
March, 1993 - October, 2004
The Mighty Zeus!  Rescued by Julie in 1994.
Zeus came to us from an unfortunate
situation in California - his family could no
longer care for him and his time was almost
up.  Zeus was my constant loving companion
for over 10 years.  He will forever hold a
special place in my heart.    --Julie
GranDog - a sweet Boston
we rescued. She had many
good happy weeks with us
before she went over the
Bridge.
HUBBIE - (IN MEMORIUM - We love you Hubbers!)
- a 14 yr old long-haired Chihuahua.  Hubbie's elderly
owner died, but before her death she requested her
family take care of Hubbie.  Not long after, the family tired
of taking care of this sweet, healthy boy and took him to
the local animal shelter to be euthanized.  Grrr Village
was contacted, and we took Hubbie in, to live out his life
here at the "Village".  Hubbie was with us nearly two
years, and he was cherished. He and all the Grrr dogs
who have gone to the Bridge will always be remembered
in our Memorial Garden here on the premises.
Our following beloved dogs
have crossed over the
Rainbow Bridge
My most beloved INGA - died December 31, 2009.
I lost my precious girl to a heart attack most
unexpectedly.
Inga, I love you. Your pillow
remains on the bed in your memory.
Kelly - died December 18, 2009. Kelly
was with me for nearly two years.
She was brought to Grrr Village by
two remarkable women who
discovered and rescued her from a
deplorable life of abuse. Kelly was
about 10 when rescued by them, and
about 13 when she died. Thank  you,
Eleanor and Marie, for rescuing Kelly
and allowing her to spend her last
two years with us at Grrr Village.
Kelly was one of my beloved
Dobermans who slept in my room
and followed me everywhere. Kelly
is forever in my heart.
Words cannot express my emotions at losing two of my beloved
Dobermans so closely together in December of 2009.
Many tears are shed and much heartbreak felt for the loss of any of our
dogs. We are grateful and blessed that there are many, many happy
stories to focus on as well, and so many wonderful supporters who are
there for us - or the loss would be too great to bear.
